MEET HOST ERIC ARTELL

After several years on the road with DragonflyTV: GPS, host Eric Artell settles into the studio for DragonflyTV Nano. There, in front of a green screen, he continues his job as DFTV tour guide, utilizing state-of-the-art digital technologies to help viewers see the invisible world of the nanoscale.     

Eric will be familiar to many viewers through his work on television (appearing on such popular series as ‘7th Heaven,’ USA Network's ‘Monk’ and Nickelodeon’s ‘Zoey 101’ and ‘All That’), film, and commercial and voice-over work.

Eric is committed to children’s literacy and participated in the NBA 2004 All Star Weekend’s ‘Read to Achieve’ program.  Basketball is just one of Eric’s favorite sports; his others include baseball, golf, snowboarding, soccer, and tennis. Also a musician, Eric plays percussion, piano and sax, and he is currently applying his love of learning to trying to learn to play the guitar.  He is fluent in Italian and loves to read (whether it’s in Italian or English!).
